This place doesn't look like much from the road but the property does a lot with little space. Staff were friendly, private beach was nice, and kayaks were available to use for free. The kids loved the hammocks!

First of all, I arrived at the hotel exhausted around 8:15pm. I walked into the office and stood there for probably 4-5 min without even being acknowledged because the front desk clerk was on the phone (with a customer, but a simple head nod or an “I’ll be with you shortly” would have sufficed.) I booked and paid for this property in advance of this trip, but during the check in process I was told I’d need to pay again as they don’t accept payments from third party vendors. Even after I showed my receipt and credit card statement showing I had paid, they still wouldn’t accept it. I was furious and left, I’d rather drive to anywhere else or sleep in my car than stay there. Awful service.

Had a great stay at this resort. Check in was easy and staff is very friendly. Breakfast pastries, and coffee in the morning was appreciated and would highly recommend using the paddle boards and kayaks to venture off from the resort we spent about 45 minutes interacting with five or six manatees which was an awesome and unexpected surprise. Would stay here again if we were in the area. Thank you very much!

Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The property overall was clean, well kept, and close to water. Parking was included, our room had a full size fridge/freezer, and a microwave. There is dining within walking distance. I would recommend staying here.

Cute little cottages to stay in. We stayed in the Sand Dollar room and the bathroom was very clean and pretty new looking. Room was small but had everything we needed.
Nice beach area and dock. Walkable to many restaurants.

Whimsical little Keys experience, with big African animals, dinosaur and a big bear spread around the property, great dining nearby at Snookes, as well as small fun gathering to watch the sunset on the beach with a couple of thatched hits. Just the place to catch your breath on Key Largo before heading down to Key West 👍
