Beautiful property!

The service was poor all around and the food was not fresh like you'd expect for the price and at a “resort.” The staff admitted the “fresh squeezed, orange juice“ was not fresh and from a can the guacamole was also from a can and not made out of actual fresh guacamoles. The menu variety was lacking, and the beach area was very small and limited as to where you could swim. I would not recommend. Typical corporate cut backs to increase their profits at the expense of the guests. The spa and spa staff was great and the pool was nice. If you have to stay there for a while, I’d rent a car to be able to leave and eat somewhere else.

Playa Largo was a great place to stay overall, and the property itself was beautiful. However, my experience with guest services was disappointing. Brittany at Guest Services was very disrespectful and seemed unwilling to assist with requests, despite the fact that I had paid extra for specific add-ons to my trip. Additionally, the resort’s communication regarding fees and policies needs significant improvement. The information provided online differs from what guests experience on-site, and after checkout I was charged for items and fees that were never explained during check-in. While the staff was quick to get guests into their rooms, they failed to provide important information that should have been covered upon arrival. Playa Largo has a lot of positives, but better communication, transparency regarding fees, and improved customer service would greatly enhance the guest experience.

If you are looking for a beautiful beach, comfortable stay, and convenient amenities… this is the best place in the Keys! We will definitely be returning!

Overall a very nice stay. We would have liked daily house keeping and overall more friendly staffing. All staff where doing what was needed but not all of them with heart behind the service. We also did not enjoy the comfort of the bed and pillows. The rooms and the resort are beautiful though and the atmosphere was fabulous. The pool is nice however daily cleaning of it would make it nicer. It seemed to need a shocking. The food was satisfactory to good however unlimited fresh water beverages bottled I feel would make the stay better. Something good or water wise did not always settle with us. Overall a nice stay. The Keys are a great area to travel and the sunsets are amazing. I rate it 3.5 out of 5.
