The location is great, however, its an older hotel that has been updated, so several stairs to deal with or not to easy to find ramps. Finding the check in area was also not easy. No signs and we had to drive around a few times. The room did not have enough soap in the shower so veery hard to get to it without pulling it out. There were plenty of towels, nice linens on the bed, the room very cold on arrival. Handy to have the restaurant for late arrivals and we also had breakfast. There is optional room service but its very limited - did not clean, just a change of sheets and towels. Bathrooms are small but OK.

Don’t clean the room everyday. Don’t have towels sometimes but on the whole nice place. Good restaurant.

The floors in the rooms did not seem too clean. There was no daily cleaning unless requested by 11:00am, and then not cleaned until late afternoon. Towels were in shortage. If you requested a towel in the morning, you would not get it until after 6:00. The reason was that they needed to wash the dirty towels. It seems like they didn’t have enough of them. No towels at the pool, and the pool was small. The tvs didn’t have local channels. The air conditioner was located about 8 inches from one side of the bed, so it would blow cold air on the person sleeping on that side. The restaurant and bar were very nice and the food was great. The beach was very spacious.

Staff could not locate our reservation. Then, they gave us a key to a room that was already occupied & my husband walked in on a woman who had just come out of the shower & was totally naked! She screamed & her husband was on the bed. Went back to front desk & was told there was no manager she could call & proceeded to say my husband was being discriminatory!! When we spoke with the manager the next morning, she even had an attitude. They never called the woman who my husband walked in on to apologize either as I personally went to her room right after it happened to let her know what transpired and what we did and asking for a manager and apologize to her myself. Not only was this all handled extremely poorly by the front desk person the night we checked in and the manager the next morning, but my husband questioned the manager as to the security of the facility!! Never staying here again! Horrible horrible service & handling of a situation they created.

Beautiful view, excellent food

The room was nice (if narrow) and the third floor ocean view is unbeatable. The bar at happy hour was fabulous (and great service!). Pool was too crowded to swim in because it was overtaken by a group of about 30 people (families) who were there together drinking and playing loud music and who stayed in the water for hours. Friendly staff, fantastic location.

The couch was all dirty, flipped the cushion over and had to scrub the stain off it. Never sat on it after seeing the dirt on the one cushion when I walked in the room. Never being at this hotel the staff explained nothing to me, didn't explain how to get to the room, never asked me how my stay was. Came here to do a celebration of my dad's life being he took us there every summer. I will NOT be returning. I will pick Avalon windrift, or Avalon Icona any day with nicer staff and much cleaner!

Nice spot right on the beach. The bar/restaurant also made it easy to order food and walk it back to our beach set up for a quick lunch. Pool was nice and not too crowded for some night swimming with the kids. Plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards to use. Super casual, no fuss, great spot for a long weekend vacation with kids. Room felt a little small, but clean. We had a double queen room ocean front
