Hotel was very difficult to find heading down Garey. The sign is hidden behind bushes. The hotel used to be a winery so it does not look like your typical hotel. This place is in serious need of a make-over. Old peeling paint, sticky walls and aging light fixtures, stained carpets, and lack of AC in the lobby/1st floor. Room we had was a queen, 3rd floor. It was very narrow to get our luggage cart in. There are limited outlets, no bedside tables, a couch you literally fall into, and a old fashioned a/c unit that blows dust & the curtains everywhere (think Howard Johnson' s back in the day!). The bed was at least comfy, with crisp sheets, and the bathroom was clean. The room phone did not work, there were major paint bubbles on ceiling, and we had to engage help to use TV.
B'fast was a big zero stars-you can not take any food/drink from the very small dining area. B'fast was (frozen) tiny cups of yogurt, stale breads, make your own waffles, cereal and beverages-coffee was not good. That was all that was served. When we told the clerk about the yogurt, (((meh))). He didn't care.We usually book at Hilton Gardens but the room rate here was cheaper. This place also had positive reviews, which is why we booked it. I am sure they try to make this old place presentable, and I am not a snob when it comes to hotels. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels/rooms. This Comfort Inn gets an B for effort but a C-/D+ for its "ambiance", visual looks, broken things, and poor b'fast quality.

There weren't many amenities at this property. No drinking water available in lobby. The elevator had issues. It was a cut-rate hotel. You get what you pay for. The area surrounding hotel is a bit "sketchy". FYI

Breakfast was supposed to last until 9:00. I arrived at 8:50 and everything was pretty much gone and i got dirty looks from the staff who obviously wanted to close up.

Typically, I don't like to leave reviews, but on this time I have to do it,I want to understand for the price you can't spect too much, but was ridiculous, main door didn't latch had to force it, carpet floors completely duty black stains all around, bathroom door all duty by used the handle and touching it and not been cleaned you even see the fingerprints of others, remodel the mirror from large to small standing up you can't even see your face, they not even patch the glue that was applied when they installed the large mirror, I can continue mentioned bad things about this place but ones again for the price I shouldn't spect better, the pictures they have at the website should be updated nothing matches and get people confused and also all the reviews, I think they are all fake because decent people don't deserve that for cheap 100.00 dollars you get a decent place to sleep,Room 200, 05/26/26 Night, thanks .

It was fine, not great not horrible but ok place place to stay. The room still had cans and bottles from whoever was there before, when I got to it a lampshade was missing from the lamp, the toilet paper roll holder wasn’t attached properly to the wall. The bedding was clean and so was the rest of the room and the room was pretty spacious and had nice seating. Not far from the Fairplex, which was nice. Parking was nice they do have a lot behind and some covered parking in a garage in the back. One thing that sketched me out a little bit was their elevator inspection safety permit thing expired two years ago, but that might be on the city not on them. I am not sure how that works.

I usually dont write reviews but I felt like I needed to. This place was around the same price as a best western I stayed at the night before however the experiences were completely different. The room itself was okay the TV pretty outdated only allowing cable channels. Some of the towels we got had staining on them. There was stains on the walls , carpet and what looked like black mold on the ceiling. There was also a strange odor in the room. The breakfast offered was good, and the beds were comfy. However our key cards stopped working after the first night and we kept having to go to the front desk to get them reswiped. Also talking about the front desk there was never anyone there if you wanted to speak with someone you had to wait 5-10min to come out from what I am assuming is the office behind the front desk, which is extremely annoying after the fifth or sixth time. As well there was an attempt to break into my mom's car while we were there and they refused to check the cameras to see if the culprits were caught on camera. After that we didnt feel safe at the hotel anymore. I would not choose to ever book there again and hopefully someone can take this as a precaution.

Pomona is not a top vacation destination and the area where this hotel is reflective of that as there is little to do in the surrounding ares. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and patient with the guests. For a short trip to the area with our small dog, this hotel worked well.
