Pleasant Friendly and Comfortable
I arrived late night and the woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was just the thing for an early morning. My room was clean and comfortable. Anytime I travel to the area again I hope to stay at Comfort Inn Blacksburg University. Thank You.

Hotel was conveniently located to the Virginia Tech campus. Staff were friendly. It the internet did not work very well at all - which was problematic. Room was ok but the hotel jacked up prices due to graduation and we paid over $500 per night for a >3 star experience. Breakfast was ok.

Overall, the service from Checkin to Breakfast was good. The window curtains do not close and the spotlights for the trees were very bright. I would suggest asking for rooms facing the back of the property.
Breakfast had hot options. Eggs, biscuits and gravy and freshly made waffles.

I have stayed at this property a few times in last 2 years. It’s so conveniently close to the college to visit my daughter! It’s not fancy, but comfortable. However, this time the room seemed a lot noisier. It was a choice between a very loud air conditioner, but if you turned it off you could hear everything the people next door said each night. Also the toilet broke and the room didn’t smell fresh. So, I’m going to take a break from this property for a while.
