Nice access to beach nice pool room was quaint.

Everything is very clean and staff friendly. Steps away from the ocean and beautiful sunrise.

Will not stay again. Pool closed to early Should be at least 9pm.

We understand the charm of an old motel, but this one was not what we were expecting. I will say the beds were comfortable, but small.

We enjoy the colonial inn, it’s a great location and perfect for the 4th of July.

Our room had mold in the kitchen ceiling. The walls are held together by paint as the moisture has destroyed the walls in the kitchen and part of bedroom. The floor was dirty when we checked in so our feet were almost black. Likely would have left but holding weekend there was no other options. Staff was nice enough but no compensation of any kind. Location for 4th of July was saving event for our 2 night stay.

Pros: nice pool, beach access, friendly staff Cons: the “cleaner” used the rooms is awful. The smell hits you in the face when you open the door. I didn’t even end up staying the night. I came for the 4th of July and the fireworks show. I live about 2 hours away and wanted to do a mini beach getaway. I checked in early, about 2:30, and brought my stuff to the room then hit the beach. I came back to the room a few times for 5-10 minutes max. It was hard to stay in there because of the smell. Ultimately, I decided to leave after the fireworks because the smell was too intense. I dropped my keycards in the key drop box and made my way back home. I already washed the bathing suit and towel that was hanging in the room for about 4 hours and the smell hasn’t come out. I’m going to need to wash everything twice it seems….

For what I was charged for only two nights, I was VERY dissatisfied in the room. Dead roach behind the bed. Bed sheets on one of the beds was dirty/sandy. The floor was dirty (as in not mopped). The air conditioner in one of the bedrooms did not work. The water pressure was low. The faucet in the tub was not even against the tub wall. The overall feel and look of the room was trashy and patched together. The floors were dirty as evidenced by the bottoms of our feet being brown (and this was not after having any sort of flip flop on that could have made our feet dirty prior. There's water damage on most of the walls and ceilings as well. I would just hate for a customer to be injured from a falling ceiling or walkway roof due poorly managed or lack of repairs. And the fact that the dirty linen cart is kept outside speaks volumes as to how they run their business
