Cherokee Park is located in Knoxville, Tennessee- 1 to 1.5 miles past the University of Tennessee campus on Kingston Pike (I believe the actual street name is Cherokee Blvd.). The park's backdrop is the Tennessee River, which many dogs take pleasure in swimming in, along with tons of wide open spaces for dogs to run. On any given day (especially weekends) you will find people bring their dogs to this park. It is the most pet-friendly place in Knoxville!

PetSafe Village Corporation was pleased to introduce to Knoxville, the first public dog park. Situated on a little more than 1 acre, the park includes the following options: A natural pond Full set of agility equipment Park benches Picnic tables Walking trails Doggy water fountain Fun for the whole family PetSafe Park Rules Park hours are 7:00 AM until sunset PetSafe Park is an on leash park. All participants must sign a park usage agreement at PetSafe Village . Upon entering you agree to abide by park rules. Please see below for specified off-lead times. Dogs must be properly vaccinated DHLPP, Rabies & Bordatella and it is recommended that they be spayed or neutered. Puppies under 4 months of age and female dogs in heat are prohibited.
