Grayton Beach in Grayton Beach, FL. Grayton Beach is a small, historic beach village on the Florida Panhandle Gulf coast halfway between Destin and Panama City. This the public beach along the Gulf of Mexico in Grayton Beach, FL which is located in Walton County, Florida along County Road 30-A . Actually, per the county rules, only dogs owned by Walton County real property owners who have obtained a permit are allowed on the beach. The rules state that the dogs must be on a leash and are allowed on the beach between 6 pm and 8 am during Daylight Savings Time and between 3 pm and 9 am during Standard time. And of course, owners are responsible for picking up doggy waste. Yet, although, the time restrictions are likely to be enforced, the remaining rules do not seem to be regularly enforced. Every evening at Sunset, the beach fills up with lots of friendly folks and their dogs. You will see many of the dogs playing fetch in the surf or in the outlet of Western Lake, which is a rare

Great outdoor restaurant on the water. Staff is super nice to your dogs and will bring them ice water. Accessible by land and sea. Located on City Island/New Pass (between Lido Key and Long Boat Key), across from Mote Marine Laboratory.

A 50's diner where you can sit outside with your pet and eat.
HUGE dog park, with a large separate run for small dogs, with multiple covered picnic tables and benches, benches placed under trees, dog toys and balls everywhere, free doggie bags supplied, and many running fresh water bowls. It has separate double entry gates, two of each, so you can avoid the ones coming or going. It is so big, you can be alone with your dog/dogs, or join a group. You get almost as much exercise as your dog.
Columbia Restaurant's menu spotlights Spanish fare ? paella packed with fresh clams, shrimp, and mussels; bean soup with chorizo; hot Cuban bread. Full bar. Dogs allowed at the tables on the sidewalk.
It is located on 17th St. east of Beneva Road. There are double gates to get into the pet area. There are 2 sections, one for small dogs under 20 lbs. and another for larger dogs. It is open until sunset. There are doggie bag dispensers, a fresh water station and shaded picnic tables, courtesy of Sarasota County.
