So you want to take your pooch on the Funky Jim-Jam and through the Crevice of Doom and over Barf Mountain--and
all your other favorite rides. Why? Because you're a benificent master who wants to share meaningful experiences
with your pet? WE DON'T THINK SO....Admit it. It's because you want something to grab onto when the G-forces cram your tongue into
your lower intestinal tract and you need someone to blame for that mess in your roller-coaster car when it comes to a racheting stop.
Well, the bad news is you can't take your pets on the rides. But the good news is you can take them with you if you are planning a day trip to an
amusement park and want to kennel them or have a family member (that wussy brother of yours) watch them while you get your ya-yas out. Many of the amusement parks have kennel facilities and we list
them on the State pages that they're in. The primary listings here are for pet-friendly lodgings near the vicinity of major amusement parks. This way you can stay
at a pet-friendly lodging, go have fun, and have your pets joyfully greet you when you get back--overwhelmed with gratitude that you didn't subject them to the Wheel of Pain
or King Neptune's Revenge.
And, as always, be sure to call first before you show up with your pet. Policies regarding animals vary from
place to place, so it's a good idea to know what you're getting into before you arrive.
