What is Quality Inn's Pet Policy?
While all pet-friendly Quality Inns allow dogs, the same can't be said for feline friends, so make sure to check Petswelcome.com before booking. It's also helpful to check the number of pets allowed per room, as it can range from one to three. Weight restrictions can also vary from 20lbs to 50lbs, with some locations accepting dogs up to 80lbs. Quality Inn also requires a pet fee that can vary by location. Some hotels charge $10 to $20 per pet per night, while others require a one time payment ranging from $25 to $75, and in some cases a refundable deposit between $50 and $100.

"Quality Inn is pleased to welcome you and your furry friend. And with over 900 pet-friendly hotels in the United States, finding lodging for you and your best friend is easier than ever!"
Our visitors at Petswelcome.com have great things to say about Quality Inn. Though some reviewers have reported dirty rooms, there have been a host of pleasant experiences to balance things out. Happy customers make a point to praise the friendly staff, nearby walking paths, and the spacious grassy areas where their pets could get some exercise.
Quality Inn traces its roots back to the 1930s, when a group of hotel owners came together to set quality standards for the lodging industry. Known as Quality Courts at the time, the organization quickly grew and, in 1963, became a for-profit lodging company. In the following decades, the company continued to evolve and spread across the globe, eventually changing its name to Choice Hotels International, the current parent company of Quality Inn.
When you stay at Quality Inn, you're supporting a company that treats workers right. That's because the chain's parent company, Choice Hotels International, has been recognized numerous times for their employee diversity and fair treatment of LGBTQ employees. From 2017 to 2020, The Human Rights Campaign Foundation named Choice one of the best places to work for LGBTQ equality and one of the best employers for diversity. Doesn't it feel good knowing that your business is going to such an ethical company?
Best Pet Friendly Quality Inn Locations
Quality Inn near Hearst Castle, San Simeon, CA
If it was only for its pet policy, this would be a Quality Inn worth going to. That’s because there is no pet fee and a 100-pound weight limit which, we were told by the front desk person, isn’t really a weight limit at all because they actually accept pets of all sizes. But the good news keeps getting better because of its location in San Simeon on the California coast north of LA, home to Hearst Castle. And while pets aren’t allowed in Hearst Castle they are allowed on the grounds, as well as on a number of nearby beaches including Hearst Beach and San Simeon Cove. If whale watching is your thing, you will also have access to the Pacific Coast Whale Trail. Dogs are also welcome on the patio of Hearst Ranch Winery overlooking San Simeon Bay.
