With the recent purchase of La Quinta by Wyndham Hotels, La Quinta's single, chain-wide pet policy (meaning every La Quinta property has the same pet policy) will be changing so that different properties will have different pet policies. Overall, many will be keeping the previous policy, which was: No fee. No weight limit. Up to 2 pets (cats or dogs). However, many will be charging $20 a night with a maximum of $40 per week. A handful have chosen not to be pet friendly at all.
To find a pet friendly La Quinta in your next destination, choose a state and city (above) and we will give you the specific pet policy for that hotel.
Consider pet insurance before you travel. While it's a good thing to have anytime, it becomes more important while you're away because of unfamiliar locales and increased interactions. If anything does happen, you can be reimbursed, sometimes up to 100%, for veterinary bills due to illness and injuries.
La Quinta (meaning the villa or country home) opened its doors in 1968 in San Antonio, Texas. It has since grown into a hugely popular hotel chain with nearly 900 properties. In January, 2018, it was purchased by Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, parent company of Wyndham Hotels.
