Did you know that it is against the law to tie a giraffe to a telephone pole or street lamp in Atlanta? Look it up. Really. In an effort to corroborate the finding, we sent Petswelcome staff members to Atlanta at which point they reported back it must be true because during their whole stay they never saw one giraffe tied to anything. They also reported that not only was Atlanta giraffe friendly but it was also very dog and cat friendly, too. For outside fun, Piedmont Dog Park, Renaissance Park Dog Park and Chattahoochee National Recreational Area are great places to take your pets. Also many restaurants and cafes will welcome your dog or cat, including Grindhouse Killer Burgers , Midtown Tavern and JavaVino Coffeee & Winehouse.
