Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days
This is going to be huge! Maddie’s Fund is hosting Pet Adoption Days to help the rescue organizations in NYC find homes for their foster pets, shelter critters, and lovely older animal companions. All of whom just want FUREVER Homes and a warm bed to snooze on. The goal of Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days is to give all healthy, senior, and treatable shelter dogs and cats a second chance. The event also will help rescue organizations financially, thereby allowing them to save even more lives. If you have thought about getting a pet, a second pet, or a third – check out the locations where rescue groups will be set up and maybe you will save a life, or a life will save you.
Dallas Pet Expo
Bring your pet to the Dallas Pet Expo! Meet Shorty Rossi from “Pit Boss” and see some of the latest and greatest pet products on the market from 100s of vendors. Rescue groups will be present along with education booths. Demonstrations in agility, obedience, and working dogs will be going on throughout the day. It’s going to be fun for the whole family. Low-cost vaccines and micro-chipping will be available too.
Bark N Blues 5K Run
If you want to participate and help Bark N Blues in raising money to aid in the ongoing efforts of smaller animal rescue groups as they strive to help homeless animals find loving homes, then register for the walk or run. If you aren’t the type to run around, bring the family and cheer on the runners. Your dog is welcome too! There will be vendors, some fun and games, and a fun is guaranteed!
21st Annual Paws Walk
Come walk and help save lives! The money raised from those who participate helps pets find new forever homes. Check out all the vendors and booths that will be there after the walk. You may even find your new buddy at the adoption booth.
The Puppy Prom is to help the Metropolitan Maltese Rescue of NYC. All canines, dressed in their finest prom wear, will compete for the title of King and Queen of the Prom. Celebrity Guests will be the judges for fantastic prizes for the crowning of the King and Queen. There will also be a raffle and some great prizes. Your dog doesn’t have to be a Maltese to go, just has to have a love of other dogs and play well with everyone.
Don’t miss this fantastic outdoor dog and music festival! Pooch-A-Palooza will be held at Prowse Farm. There will be music, a beer garden, and great food. For the kids, a play area with games, crafts, and bounce houses. Your dog will be the most active with all the contests such as Best Dressed, Dog Look-A-Like, and agility and frisbee contests.
