Pet Friendly Bed and Breakfasts

Pet Friendly Bed and Breakfasts are something special.  You stay at one not because you just want a place to sleep. You choose it because it is a destination in itself, a place that allows you to step into someone else’s world and enjoy all they have to offer. This includes not simply their lodging, but also their sense of style, food and conversation. Their take on the world. In short, it is an experience.

Whenever I stay at a pet friendly B&B, I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Not only am I amazed that they allow me into such a beautiful environment, I’m in awe that they allow my dogs. And they don’t just allow them, they truly welcome them with open arms. That’s because many owners of pet friendly bed and breakfasts have pets themselves. It’s not just a business calculation, it’s a genuine enthusiasm and a way of life.

Beyond being among pet lovers, another great thing about these B&Bs is that they are uniquely individual and offer a wide variety of experiences. They can range from modest homes that really like pets to stately homes in urban settings to country estates or even farms with dozens of acres. One thing you’ll find in all of them is a knowledgeable staff who will be sure to point you and your pet to other great pet friendly places in the area including restaurants, parks, and other unique local landmarks.

We’d like to celebrate these awesome lodgings by offering a sample of some we list on Petswelcome. If you own or run a pet friendly bed and breakfast, or have stayed at one that you really liked, please contact us so we can add it to our list.
